This notice explains the email signup on Stevin John’s personal website. It also applies when you request a mailing-list subscription through a contact form. It applies to this mailing list; websites and services linked from this site may have separate terms and privacy notices.
1. What you agree to receive
By submitting your email address with the consent box selected, you request email communications from Stevin John and the team managing his mailing list. Messages may include personal and professional updates, newsletters, project announcements, launch notices, events, content, product information, marketing, promotions, offers, and selected brand or partner features. Message frequency varies. Promotional content may relate to Stevin’s businesses and projects or selected third-party partners.
The newsletter signup box is selected by default and can be cleared. The contact-form consent box must be selected by you. The relevant box must be selected to submit either form. Submitting a contact form requests both email updates and delivery of your message; the signup request is processed before the message-delivery step. If you do not want these emails, do not submit these forms. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. This consent covers this mailing list; it does not authorize unrelated third parties to add you to their own mailing lists.
2. Who may subscribe
This signup is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Use an email address you own or are authorized to use. Do not subscribe someone else without their permission. This mailing list is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this form, please contact us through the contact page so we can address the request.
3. Confirmation and unsubscribing
You may receive a confirmation email and need to confirm your address before receiving further messages. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email. You may also contact us through the contact page for help. Marketing opt-out requests will be honored as required by applicable law, including within 10 business days under U.S. CAN-SPAM rules. An unsubscribe may take time to process, and messages already in transit may still arrive.
Unsubscribing from this list does not automatically unsubscribe you from other mailing lists you separately joined. Necessary communications about an independent transaction or a request you made may still be sent where permitted by law.
4. Information used for the mailing list
The newsletter signup collects your email address. When you use a contact form, your email address and first name are also sent to Kit for the mailing list. Your contact message, full name, email address, selected topic, and consent record are sent through FormSubmit for delivery to Stevin’s inbox. The message itself is not sent to Kit by this integration. The mailing-list service may also process technical and engagement information, such as signup source and time, device or browser information, IP address, delivery status, and email opens or link clicks, depending on its configuration and your email provider. This information is used to administer subscriptions, deliver and measure communications, address technical problems, protect against misuse, and improve content.
5. Email service providers and partners
Kit provides the email signup and mailing-list service. Information submitted through the signup is processed using Kit and relevant delivery and service providers. Their processing may involve countries other than your own. See Kit’s privacy policy for its practices. Clicking a partner link or visiting an external website is subject to that destination’s own policies. A partner feature in an email does not itself subscribe you to that partner’s separate mailing list.
6. Retention, choices, and requests
Subscription information is used for as long as needed to administer the list and for legitimate operational and legal purposes. After an unsubscribe, limited suppression information may be retained to respect your opt-out and prevent accidental resubscription. Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control personal information. Use the contact page to make a privacy request. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
7. Security and delivery
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and email delivery cannot be guaranteed. Do not submit passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal information through the signup. You are responsible for protecting access to your email account.
8. Content and offers
Emails are provided for information and marketing. Availability, pricing, eligibility, and terms for a product, event, investment opportunity, or promotion are governed by the specific offer and its applicable terms. An email does not by itself create a purchase agreement or constitute individualized legal, tax, or investment advice. Nothing in this notice limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Updates and contact
This notice may be updated by posting a revised version with an effective date. Changes do not remove your right to unsubscribe or retroactively expand consent where fresh consent is required. Questions about the list, your subscription, or this notice can be sent through the contact page.
